217 Small Groups and updates

The fall is right around the corner and Groups are starting up. We will meet at Christ's Church on August 26th to meet your groups and get started on the right foot.

Small groups in the home will start on September 2nd


217 Worship Gatherings are going to be held on the Second Sunday night of the month. So the first Worship Gathering will September 13th, 6:30-7:30. This is open to all High School and Jr. High age students

Be looking for signups for ICTC (illinois Christian Teen Convention) that is in November.

The 217 blog is Back!!!!

It has been a while since we have had the blog up and running. Here it is again with new information.

Costa Rica service auction and dinner is March 29 at 6 pm. A $5 donation is suggested per plate and the auction will follow with plenty of opportunities to bid on the students willingness to serve to help pay for their mission trip.


June 21-26 Summer in the Son at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, KY -

Sign ups are March 1st-March 22nd $50 deposit due March 22nd (Invite your friends!!)
-Hawk Nelson and the Afters will perform, Eric Timms is painting, Aaron Pelsue Band is leading worship, and once again Jim Burgen will be the speaker
-4 full scholarships are available for the trip if you know somebody that wants to go but can’t afford it

26th Invite a Friend Night! Bowling at K-bowl meet at the church at 6pm cost $5

We will be talking about "Staved". The first weekend in march is our 30 hr famine and we are going to be talking about what our responsiblities are for the world around us and in our community. 30 Hr Famine = March 7-8 (we'll be helping at the coffee house that month)
