There will a New Years Eve party at the church begining at 8pm and go Until 8am on Jan 1. (Please note once your here you will not leave until 8am or with a parent) Girls bring ice cream guys bring your favorite toppings.

Hello everyone, Here is some very exciting news. Ben Stein has made a movie that is questioning the Evolution theory and promotes Intelligent design (God did what he said he did). Any way here's a short little preview of the movie that will be out in Febuary! I encourage you to stand up for what you believe b/c their is not one shred of evidence for the Evolution theory! It's a man made fantasy!

Hello, everyone! Hey just wanted to keep everyone up to date on what's going on.

We are going to Acquire the fire this weekend Nov 9-10th. We are leaving at 4:30 pm and returning saturday around midnight!

We are not having small groups on Wednesday the 21st!

We are meeting at Joe Sippers on Wednesday the 28th @ 6pm for our 217 worship gathering!
Bring your own money if you want something to eat or drink.

Oct. 21 217 Rake and Run (bring rakes and work gloves) 1-4pm
Oct. 24 217 Worship Gathering (Smores and more) outside, campfire worship, and cool stuff 6:30-800
Oct. 31 Harvest Party 6-8pm at Christs Church

Acquire the Fire November 9-10th: Deposit due Friday OCT. 9th, you can still register after that but price goes up!

Remember bring money for 3 meals!!

217 Starting up SEPT 5th

Here are some things that are going on Soon:


Sept. 9 God Stock - FREE CONCERT in fairfield IL we'll be leaving the church @9am and returning around 10:30pm. (Bring lawn chairs, blankets, money for 2 meals) Artist include Shawn groves, day of fire, Sarah Kelly and more!

We are going to kick everything off this year at the church on Sept. 5th at 6:30 pm. Trust me you wont want to miss it!

Here are the small group options for the fall (Small groups will meet in homes for the first 3 weeks of each month and we will all meet for the 217 Worship gathering at the church on the 4th wednesday night of the month):

H20 - Ever had a question about your faith, about the church, about God. This is a great opportunity for you and your friends to ask some of those hard questions in a safe environment.

Friendzee - If you like the game cranium or just like playing games then this is for you! The study of each night focuses around playing a game while learning about God's word that can truly apply to your life!

Friendship 1st - If you like anything about cooking and food then this small group will be great! Every lesson is centered around either cooking or eating, while leading you closer to God all at the same time!

Each Group is limited so sign up asap! When you sign up please indicate what size of t-shirt you would like, and also a alternate size in case we should be short. After attending the Worship gathering on sept 5 @ 6:30 and going to your host homes on sept 12 you will receive your free t-shirt. All sign ups for the FREE t-shirts must be done by Sept 5. All groups are open but after sept 5th if you want a shirt (and there cool) they will be $10.

Our trip is now complete! We have returned safely and things are good! We met many new people and learned and lived along side of them for the last 10 days! There are many things we learned from this trip but the biggest thing is that God is working all over the world through all different looking people! God is Good all the time and we were able to experience his goodness through several different way! So enjoy the pics there's alot!

Here are some VBS pictures of the Church we are serving in Miami Shores area! Its been hot and humid here all week and everyone is at least 1 shade darker than when we left! Thanks for the prayers that everyone has been lifting up for us!

Hey everyone, once again i have found some High speed internet close to the church and got away for a minute to upload some more pics, so here they are! We are still working hard and having fun! God has been good to us and continues to show himself. The students have had some really good opportunities to share Christ through the action and love and have made some new friends this week!

Tuesday

Holla, everyone! We are having a great time and tonight we finally got to go the starbucks that was in the previous pics. Bryce was Muy Beuno(very happy). We are having good days at the park with the b-ball camp. Its very hot and we are all soaked at the end of the day but we have met some great guys that we are able to witness to through our playing and attitudes! The girls are interacting with face painting, small devos and other things with the children and parents at the park. Thats the morning activity that we do everyday. At night our VBS is going great with our first night monday with 65 and tonight we had even more. It is truly awesome be stretched and pulled by God! We continue to remind every one to keep the big picture of why we are here. The days are hard but they go by very quickly as we are moving and interacting with people all day! Talk to you all later,

Sunday Night

We made it and decorated for our VBS that starts tomorrow! We are all really tired but everyone is excited about the oppurtunities that God is going to put in our path this week! As i get time and places where i can update this I will! I have tons of pics but a very slow internet conection so i'll try to get them up sometime this week
